Carren one of a kind Gives Back
Improving the Lives of Many
About Our Foundation
Everybody is Somebody
Carren one of a Kind was founded on 15th June 2020 named after the late Carren Atieno Okumu, a single mother who suffered with her five children in Soweto slums Kayole Nairobi till her death, by her son Eustace Ochieng Warekwa.
The foundation's agenda is to look after the well being of abandoned, orphaned and street children.
It also supports single mothers in the slums of Nairobi, providing them with food and monetary support once in a while to start and establish small businesses.
The foundation's offices are located in Umoja Estate, Deliverance Church road Labenka Plaza Nairobi Kenya.
It is built under Christian based morals and it not only aiming at changing the economic but also the social lifestyles of the less privileged in the slums.
Our team has a scheduled program that involves visiting single mothers in the slums and spending quality fun time with street children. Since we do not have our own shelters for the homeless and rehabilitation centers, we get to check in the children in the available ones but we keep on checking on the child till he or she becomes an independent adult.
